What is CBGA?

CBGA also known as Cannabigerolic Acid plays a super important role in the formation of all the Cannabinoids found in the Cannabis plant and in Hemp.

It is considered by many to be the ” Mother Cannabinoid ” since the existence of CBGA allows the existence of other Cannabinoids such as CBD or THC .

It was only in the late 1990s that the role of CBGA was discovered by Japanese scientists, more than 25 years after its discovery.

The CBGA presents a legal framework in countries where the CBD also does.

How did the CBGA originate?

Importance of the CBGA and where it can act

Like most cannabinoids , the CBGA is in need of further study and research, but some people already recognize its importance, for example:

Diabetic problems – the CBGA acts directly on the enzyme Aldose reductase which is a molecule associated with the problem of diabetes.

– – Metabolism Problems – This Cannabinoid has the ability to bind to active receptors that are linked to metabolism (Peroxisome Proliferators).

Among other problems, such as cancer.

There has also been growing interest in studying the positive effects of CBGA in people with Covid-19, but these tests are also somewhat inconclusive.

Conclusion

The lack of information related to CBGA could indicate a possible lack of interest in studying this Cannabinoid, however this is only due to the difficulty in isolating CBGA , thus allowing for a more precise analysis.
